Help Your Child Communicate With Confidence
When your child has trouble communicating, knowing what to do next can feel overwhelming. The Speech Spot helps you understand your child’s needs and find a path forward, with approachable, personalized support.
You know your child has a lot to say
Maybe their words are hard to understand. Maybe they struggle to express what they need, connect with others, or play in a meaningful way.
You don’t need to have all the answers before asking for help
You may be wondering
Is this something my child will grow out of?
Would therapy help?
What can I do if my child is waitlisted at another clinic?
Where can I go if my child needs support beyond what is currently available?

Let’s find your child’s next step, together
You don’t need a diagnosis to ask questions or explore your options.
Start by telling us what you are noticing
“Lora is extremely talented at working with and connecting with children. She worked with our son, Lincoln, for a year and a half. Lora took him from saying one word to speaking full sentences.
He thoroughly enjoyed each of his sessions with her! She would bring fun and interactive toys to each speech session. Between that and her friendly, compassionate demeanor—she was able to keep Lincoln engaged, which is not an easy task.
To this day, I still use some of the skills we learned with our other two children. It was such a pleasure getting to have the opportunity to work with, Lora. We couldn’t have asked for a better speech therapist and person to work with our son!
-Chrystal“Ms. Nancy was pivotal in my son's speech journey. She not only built his speech and language skills but also his confidence. He became a confident speaker and processes his thoughts and ideas into spoken words so much more fluently. He continues to utilize the strategies she taught him. He loved going to play with Ms. Nancy. He never thought he was working. She had a way of making hard things fun. She also helped this very worried/anxious first time momma. She made sure his goals were things we could work on at home and reassured my racing mind. Ms. Nancy wasn't just a stepping stone in his speech journey - she built the path and paved the way for his success. ”
-Laura“Our family had a wonderful experience at the Speech Spot with Gemma! My son's speech improved quickly and helped him start Kindergarten off strong. Gemma uses evidence-based approaches and is able to hide the "work" within play-based activities. As a speech therapist myself, I would highly recommend her services. My son still asks to go play with Miss Gemma!”
